The second and final T20I between India and England will be played tonight at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. India are leading the 2-match series having defeated England comfortably in the first T20I at Pune. This short T20I Series may not have much significance but it does give opportunities for the fringe players from both the sides to showcase their talents.

India could use this match as an opportunity to have a look at the likes of Ambati Rayudu and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Gautam Gambhir may not be required in an Indian T20 team especially on batting pitches which are quite prevalent in India. There could be a possibility of dropping leggie Piyush Chawla to accommodate the medium pace all-rounder Bhuvneshwar Kumar. India also had the talented Rohit Sharma on the bench. Rohit has hit scintillating form in the ongoing Ranji Trophy Championship.

For England, it is a must win game if they desire to draw the short series. The visitors did play well in the first T20I except for losing some momentum in the middle overs. Of course, the fast bowlers would look to cut on the extras they had gifted to the Indians in the first match. England will miss the services of Jonny Bairstow who has left for his home for personal reasons. The tourists are likely to drop Samit Patel and Jade Dernbach to accommodate Joe Root and James Harris.
