West Indies led by Dwayne Bravo have won the toss and elected to bat first against minnows Ireland in the day/night match at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. Hosts West Indies are without their regular Skipper Chris Gayle who apparently woke up with some stiffness. They are up against a side that shockingly entered the Super Eights of the 2007 World Cup in West Indies after beating a major side like Pakistan. Ireland are a spirited unit and West Indies have no chance of any complacency especially in this shortest version of the game. The pitch is obviously expected to be sluggish and one can't expect the tall totals unless the bowling is too terrible!

West Indies Playing XI : Andre Fletcher, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Narsingh Deonarine, Dwayne Bravo (C), Kieron Pollard, Denesh Ramdin (WK), Darren Sammy, Nikita Miller, Ravi Rampaul and Kemar Roach

Ireland Playing XI : William Porterfield (C), Paul Stirling, Niall O'Brien (WK), Alex Cusack, Kevin O'Brien, Trent Johnston, Gary Wilson, John Mooney, Andre Botha, George Dockrell and Boyd Rankin
