South Africa's Skipper Graeme Smith has won the toss and invited India to bat first in the Group C Match at the Beausejour Stadium in Gros Islet. India has made two changes from the last match with Gautam Gambhir and Zaheer Khan making way for Dinesh Karthik and leg spinner Piyush Chawla. According to Dhoni, Gambhir is suffering from diarrhea and Piyush is included because of the slow nature of the pitches here.

The pitch is expected to have true pace and bounce so batting should be pretty normal. The ground is on the larger side and there may not be too many sixes that one sees in the regular T20 games. For India, its a back-to-back match having defeated Afghanistan yesterday in an easy outing. By now, the Indians know more about the ground conditions than the Proteas especially the right field placements if Dhoni is to be believed.

South Africa who have still got a game against Afghanistan have left out Herschelle Gibbs, Charl Langeveldt, Johan Botha and Juan Theron.
