New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday called for an emergency meeting of IPL Governing Council on January 5.
The council is expected to take some major decision for upcoming IPL-4 starting soon after the World Cup 2011.
One of the major issues to be discussed in the meeting could be the board's legal battle with Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals who have got a stay from the High Court against their termination by the BCCI.
The players auction for IPL-4 is scheduled for January 8-9, where 350 players are expected to go under the hammer.
