Lions picked up an easy win of 9 wickets with 29 balls to spare over Guyana at the New Wanderers.

Lions picked up an easy win of 9 wickets with 29 balls to spare over Guyana at the New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. Their Skipper Alviro Petersen won the toss and put Guyana to bat first and they slipped to a sorry 88 for 6 in the 14th over. However they could drag themselves to 148 for 9. Ethan O'Reilly was the most successful bowler for Lions capturing four wickets.

Lions then went onto chase the runs in just 15.1 overs with one down batsman Richard Cameron scoring a smashing 78* from just 42 balls with 5 fours and 6 sixes. Opener Alviro Petersen finished the match along with him with an unbeaten 57 from 38 balls (with 6 fours and 2 sixes).
