There is news that Australia is going in with a pace quartet considering that India struggled against the fast bowlers in the Melbourne Test. Nathan Lyon, the lone spinner could make way for Harris.

Although SCG has traditionally aided spinners, playing a spinner against India is not a fruitful idea unless its a Shane Warne kind of quality bowler! Teams also have a specialist spinner against India just to keep the over-rate healthy. Australia this time could take that gamble and leave Lyon in favour of Harris. Like the pace trio that bowled Australia to a 122-run win in Melbourne, Ryan Harris too is capable of bowling at express speeds of 150 kmph!

Meanwhile all-rounder Shane Watson, one of Australia's key player is likely to miss the remainder of the Test Series as well because of his calf injury.

The Aussies have left out all-rounder Daniel Christian and left arm quick Mitchell Starc from what is a 12-man squad for the Second Test at Sydney.

The Selectors have kept faith in left-handed Shaun Marsh despite his failures in the Melbourne Test. There would have been one or two changes to the team but the fabulous knocks from veterans Ricky Ponting and Michael Hussey has probably changed the minds of the Selectors.

Here is Australia's Squad for the Second Test at Sydney :

Michael Clarke (Captain), David Warner, Ed Cowan, Shaun Marsh, Ricky Ponting, Michael Hussey, Brad Haddin (Wicket Keeper), Peter Siddle, Ben Hilfenhaus, Ryan Harris, James Pattinson and Nathan Lyon
