Indian batting coach Vikram Rathour admitted that the team was a bit distracted ahead of Day 4 of The Oval Test after they came to know that their head coach Ravi Shastri had tested positive for COVID-19. The BCCI informed on Sunday that the medical team had isolated Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun, fielding coach R Sridhar, and physiotherapist Nitin Patel as a precautionary measure after the head coach’s lateral flow test returned positive on Saturday evening.
