Australia’s comeback man James Faulkner has admitted that the series in India starting September 17 is going to be a massive Test for them as the hosts are in superlative form.

Australia somehow managed to draw the Test series in Bangladesh. India, on the other hand, blanked Sri Lanka 9-0 in a full-fledged series.

"Look, they have played a lot of one-day cricket, off-late. They are in a very good knick at the moment. And like I said, it's gonna be a test and we are very excited for it," said Faulkner in an ANI report.

"It's going to be a good series. The last time we were here, we played some good, tuff cricket. We are really excited," he further said.

Faulkner further said that when India Australia face each other, it was always about some good, tough cricket. "Looking forward to playing the warm-up game before the series starts. It's tuff conditions here in Chennai, its hot out there," the all-rounder added.

On being out of the team for a while, he accepted in the ANI report, “It's been tough. If you ask any player any time he gets left out, it's no great fun. You have to rely on your friends and family and teammates as well.”
