Haryana are off to a bad start at 15 for 2 after being set a target of 185 by defending Champions Rajasthan in the 1st Semi-Final at the Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium in Rohtak. While yesterday saw 18 wickets going down, today was slightly better with 14 wickets falling and taking the match towards a conclusion on the third day.
Resuming at 82 for 8 this morning, Haryana picked up a slender lead of 8 runs as they got bowled out for 97 in 47.5 overs. Rituraj Singh wrapped up the innings with 7 for 45.
It was an improved batting display from Rajasthan in the second innings as they put up 192 thanks to solid knocks from Vineet Saxena (58) and Robin Bist (44). Sachin Rana with his medium pace was the pick of the bowlers for Haryana taking four wickets.
