Bangladesh eased to an 8-wicket win with two overs to spare in their opening T20I against Netherlands at the Sportpark Westvliet in The Hague. Batting first after winning the toss, Netherlands posted 144 for 7 in 20 overs with opener Michael Swart top scoring with 57 from 41 balls (with 4 fours and 2 sixes).

Bangladesh eased to an 8-wicket win with two overs to spare in their opening T20I against Netherlands at the Sportpark Westvliet in The Hague. Batting first after winning the toss, Netherlands posted 144 for 7 in 20 overs with opener Michael Swart top scoring with 57 from 41 balls (with 4 fours and 2 sixes). Mashrafe Mortaza and Shakib Al Hasan bowled well for the visitors taking two wickets each.

The visitors then took 18 overs to get to the target of 145. Opener Tamim Iqbal led the way with an unbeaten 69 (from 53 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes). Skipper Mushfiqur Rahim sealed the run chase with Tamim with his breezy knock of 37* (from 24 balls with 4 sixes).
