Electing to bat, Hyderabad put up 191/4. Williamson made 89 from 51 balls and featured in a 136-run stand for the second wicket with opener Shikhar Dhawan (70). Delhi were then kept down to 176/5.
The victory was Hyderabad's fourth successive win at home. They are now at second spot with eight points from six matches. Delhi are fourth with four points from five games.
Chasing 192, Delhi raced to 56/1 at the end of six powerplay overs with Sanju Samson (42) and Karun Nair (33) going well. But, following their dismissals, Delhi fell apart.
Shreyas Iyer (50 not out) kept the hopes alive with some lusty blows. Needing 24 runs from the final over, Delhi managed only 15. For Hyderabad, Siraj took two wickets for 39 runs.
Earlier, Williamson, playing in his first match of the season, hit six fours and five sixes before falling in the 17th over. Dhawan hit seven fours and a six in his 50-ball innings.
For Delhi, pacer Chris Morris claimed four wickets giving away 26 runs.
