Anjelo Mathews: I thought 370 odd we were sitting pretty and it will take a lot of time to digest this defeat. The Pakistani bowlers put us under pressure in the second innings. Overall, they played better than us and deserved to win. It was a very good wicket. We don't have Mahela or Sanga with us, but we have to accept the challenge and move on. I am trying to contribute with bat and ball, it will be useful for the team as well. We are looking forward to the ODIs.

Younis Khan is the Man of the Match and Yasir Shah is the Man of the Series.

Misbah-ul-Haq: The pitch wasn't doing a lot for the bowlers. So we thought if we could apply ourselves and be there, we can chase this down. Shan Masood and Younis Khan played really well and after that I think it was an easy job for us. The youngsters are going well for the cause of the team. He has good variations and he kept us in the game. Imran Khan picked five wickets on Day 4, which was amazing to see. The key factor in this game was, we used our past experience, corrected our mistakes and it worked. This is a dream come true, to win a series in Sri Lanka after losing the last few. Sarfraz Ahmed, Asad Shafiq, Azhar Ali, all played well. This is a big victory. I think the ODI side will do well, they played well against Pakistan. Probably they can take a bit of momentum from this series win.
