Pakistan’s Captain Misbah-ul-Haq is in the danger of getting a one-match suspension if his team falls short of the over-rate again in the next 12 months. In the Asia Cup opening match against hosts Bangladesh which Pakistan won by 21 runs, Misbah-ul-Haq’s team fell short in the over-rate by two overs. That resulted in the ICC Match Referee slapping Misbah-ul-Haq with a 40% fine of his match fees while the rest of the Pakistani players getting docked 20%.
