After suffering an agonizing two run loss against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on the opening day of the 2011 Champions League Twenty20 competition, the Auckland Aces will be looking to turn in a stellar performance in their second match in as many days when they clash with Somerset on Tuesday.

Earlier on Monday, KKR fought back to beat Auckland Aces by two runs in a thriller to register an unlikely win in the CLT20 Qualifiers in Hyderabad on Monday.

Chasing a modest total of 122, the team from New Zealand finished at 119 for six in their allotted 20 overs.

Auckland at one time were cruising at 60 for two but suffered batting collapse in the midddle of their innings which led to their downfall.

Somerset will be banking on MuraliKartik, Alfonso Thomas, Roelof van derMerwe, along with batsman James Hildreth in their clash against Auckland.

The Auckland Aces on their part will want a stable performance from their batsmen as they look to recover from their hearbreaking loss against KKR and get a much needed victory under their belt.
