The Group A match between Mumbai Indians and Lions of CLT20 2013 which is scheduled to be played on the 27th has been moved out from Ahmedabad due to torrential rains. The match instead will be played at the Sawani Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur where the weather has stayed good for cricket.
As we know the Sardar Patel Stadium in Motera, Ahmedabad witnessed a damp squib on Monday when two matches – Lions Vs Perth and Mumbai Vs Otago were washed out without a single ball bowled due to rain.
The tournament itself is expected to be threatened by rain as it is that kind of season every year in India at this time. Ahmedabad is the venue for two more matches which are scheduled on the 30th. With rain forecasted for that day, the two matches could well be moved to another venue like tomorrow’s game between Mumbai and Lions.
