West Indies continued their impressive comeback in the series by restricting India to 234 for 5 at the end of day one at St Lucia. Having won the toss, and put the opposition in, West Indies had India in all sorts of strife at 126 for 5.
It wasn’t the best of batting shows from India A as they could only manage a slender first innings lead of 25 runs in the 1st Unofficial Test against West Indies A at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown.
There were no excuses for the Indian batsmen at the Adelaide Oval on a pitch that was going to be a batsman’s paradise. It was the best of batting conditions, one could find in Australia, especially for teams from the sub-continent.
