Pakistan are left with fighting out for another draw after South Africa declared its first innings at 584 for 9 leaving them with absolutely no chances of winning this Second Test Match at Abu Dhabi. AB de Villiers scored a career best of 278 not out (from 418 balls with 23 fours and 6 sixes) for the Proteas. Graeme Smith declared the innings which cut short the 10th wicket stand between AB de Villiers and Morne Morkel (35*) to 107. Debutant pacer Tanvir Ahmed had reasons to smile as he finished with 6 for 120 in 28 overs.
Pakistan in reply are at 59 for 1 in 18 overs by Stumps on Day 2 with Azhar Ali batting well on 34.
