The BCCI Corporate Trophy is an Indian cricket competition. It was established in 2008 by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as a 12-team inter-corporate tournament beginning at the start of the Indian cricket season before the start of the Ranji Trophy competition. The tournament is a 50 over a side tournament involving corporate teams.
India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been named in the India Cements squad for the BCCI Corporate Trophy.
The Airtel BCCI Corporate Trophy 2012-13 will be played from 1 February 2013 to 8 February 2013.
Sixteen teams have been divided into four groups of four each. Each team will play the other three in its group. The most successful team from each group (in terms of points) will qualify for the semi-finals.
Group A: S B Hyderabad, MRF, Canara Bank and Andhra Bank.
Group B: Air India, Chemplast, Customs & Excise and BPCL.
Group C: CAG, ONGC, Indian Income Tax and S B Patiala.
Group D: Indian Oil, BSNL, S B Mysore and India Cements.
BCCI Corporate Trophy 2013 Squads
Indore, Pune, Nagpur and Raipur will host the league games, from 1 February 2013 to 4 February 2013. The semi-finals will be played on 6 February 2013 at Raipur and Indore.
Indore will host the final on 8 February 2013.
The winning team will receive a cash prize of ` 1 crore. The runners-up will receive ` 50 lakhs, and the losing semi-finalists will get ` 12.5. lakhs each.
