The Rajasthan Royals (RR) will take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in match number 13 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. This will be an evening game of IPL 2022 and will start at 7:30 PM IST. RR have made a wonderful start to the tournament, winning both their games so far. After defeating the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 61 runs, they proceeded to thump five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) by 23 runs. RCB have had a mixed run so far. They began the competition by going down to the Punjab Kings (PBKS) by five wickets. They fought back to defeat the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by three wickets in a low-scoring thriller.

RR proved too good for MI in their previous encounter. Jos Buttler thumped them as he notched up his second IPL hundred. The good thing is that skipper Sanju Samson, Devdutt Padikkal and Shimron Hetmyer have all looked in great touch. What Rajasthan need is runs from the blade of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Riyan Parag to make them look a complete batting unit.

The bowling department has been fantastic. Trent Boult and Prasidh Krishna have excelled in the pace department while Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin have combined to hold together the spin department. Tough to spot any cracks in RR as of now.

RR’s Predicted XI: Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson (c & wk), Devdutt Padikkal, Shimron Hetmyer, Riyan Parag, Ravichandran Ashwin, Navdeep Saini, Trent Boult, Yuzvendra Chahal, Prasidh Krishna

Bangalore did win their last match against KKKR, but it was not a convincing one. Their batting faltered rather badly in what should have been a straight forward chase. Glenn Maxwell has completed his quarantine but it remains to be seen whether he will be allowed to play.

In the bowling, Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel and Akash Deep have all been impressive. With Mohammed Siraj and Shahbaz Ahmed in the team as well, RCB look a very strong bowling unit on paper. They proved their worth in the match against KKR.

RCB’s predicted XI: Faf du Plessis (c), Anuj Rawat, Virat Kohli, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Glenn Maxwell, Shahbaz Ahmed, Wanindu Hasaranga, David Willey, Harshal Patel, Akash Deep, Mohammed Siraj

Top fantasy picks for RR vs RCB clash: Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, Yuzvendra Chahal, Faf du Plessis, Dinesh Karthik, Wanindu Hasaranga
