Bhagwat Chandrasekhar: He played 58 Tests for India and claimed 242 wickets averaging 29.7. Chandrasekhar had 16 five-fors to his credit with a best of 8/79. He picked up 10 wickets in a match twice, his best figures being 12/104.

Javagal Srinath: The former India pacer featured in 67 Tests for India and claimed 236 wickets averaging 30.4. Srinath had 10 five-wicket hauls to his credit with a best of 8/86. He picked up 10 wickets in a match once, his best figures of 13/132.

Erapalli Prasanna: Part of the famous spin quarter, Prasanna featured in 49 Tests and ended with 189 wickets at an average of 30.3. He grabbed 10 five-fors with a best of 8/76. Prasanna also had two 10- wicket match hauls, with best figures of 11/140.

Vinoo Mankad: The legendary former all-rounder played 44 Tests for India and picked up 162 wickets averaging 32.2. Mankad claimed eight five-wicket hauls with a best of 8/52. He had also two 10-wicket match hauls, with best figures of 13/131.

Srinivas Venkataraghavan: The former spinner-captain played 57 Tests for India and claimed 156 wickets averaging 36.1. Venkat grabbed three five-wicket hauls with a best of 8/72. He had one 10-wicket match haul, which were his best figures of 12/152.
