It wasn’t the best of batting shows from India A as they could only manage a slender first innings lead of 25 runs in the 1st Unofficial Test against West Indies A at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown. By the close of Day 2 of the 4-day Test, West Indies A are at 3/0 having bowled out India A for 277 in 81.1 overs.

Rohit SharmaIndia A had an absolutely bad morning with a start of 1 for 2 and then later 21 for 3. Skipper Cheteshwar Pujara (50 from 97 balls with 7 fours) steadied the ship with Rohit Sharma (94 from 159 balls with 10 fours and 3 sixes). There were two more contributions coming in from the next batsmen that followed – Manoj Tiwary with 40 (from 46 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes) and Wicket Keeper Wriddhiman Saha with 56 (from 92 balls with 6 fours).

The tail didn’t wag at all for India A as they settled for 277. Left arm quick Delorn Johnson with 3/29 and Jonathan Carter with 5/63 did the damage for the hosts.
