Rajasthan were poor with both bat and ball against Gujarat. They allowed the opponents to recover from 53 for 3 to post 192 for 4. Kuldeep Sen went for 51 in his four while the others could not provide the big breakthroughs. RR missed Trent Boult in the last game and it had an impact in their overall effectiveness.
Their batting has been heavily dependent on Jos Buttler and Shimron Hetmyer in recent matches. Devdutt Padikkal, Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag will need to lift their game if RR want to do well on a consistent basis. The incredible form of Buttler will please Rajasthan though.
RR Predicted XI: Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Devdutt Padikkal, Sanju Samson (c & wk), Shimron Hetmyer, Riyan Parag, James Neesham, Ravichandran Ashwin, Trent Boult, Prasidh Krishna, Yuzvendra Chahal
Kolkata have some thinking to do. Their opening partnership is not working. Aaron Finch is likely to get another chance ahead of Ajinkya Rahane, but Venkatesh Iyer and skipper Shreyas Iyer need to find runs. In some good news for the franchise, Nitish Rana hit a much-needed fifty against SRH while Andre Russell continued his impressive run.
In the bowling, Umesh Yadav has had a couple of poor games after a great start. Varun Chakaravarthy had a rare bad day against Hyderabad while Pat Cummins has been leaking too many runs. Sunil Narine has been their standout bowler so far.
KKR Predicted XI: Aaron Finch, Venkatesh Iyer, Shreyas Iyer (c), Nitish Rana, Andre Russell, Sheldon Jackson (wk), Pat Cummins, Sunil Narine, Umesh Yadav, Varun Chakaravarthy, Aman Khan
Top fantasy picks for RR vs KKR clash: Jos Buttler, Shimron Hetmyer, Trent Boult, Nitish Rana, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine
