Cricket News sort by Indian Premier League - 2013

The Mumbai Police’s chargesheet in connection with betting during the Indian Premier League (IPL) season six has been filed. The biggest revelation of all has been the naming of former Chennai Super Kings Team Principal Gurunath Meiyappan.

Bombay High Court today has declared the just concluded BCCI probe in the IPL Spot fixing as illegal and unconstitutional.

The two-member panel instituted to look into the allegations against IPL team owners Gurnath Meiyappan and Raj Kundra may have given the two a clean chit.

In spite of the horror events that have taken place over the past month, the new BCCI secretary Sanjay Patil has come out and stated that there are no plans to scrap the much-maligned Indian Premier League (IPL), and that the tournament would go on as it has done over the past six years.

When the Cronjegate scandal broke out at the dawn of the millennium, it was a shocker for cricket fans the world over. In their wildest dreams they never expected such a thing to ever happen.
