Pravin Tambe claimed the first hat-trick of IPL 7 to help Rajasthan Royals clinch a thrilling 10-run win over Kolkata Knight Riders at Ahmedabad. Skipper Shane Watson contributed in a big way scoring a quick-fire 31 from 20 balls and then capturing 3 for 21 in 4 overs to sink KKR.

The Knight Riders needing 171 runs to win from 20 overs were going great guns through the massive opening stand between Skipper Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa. Both the openers scored fifties but got out in the space of three deliveries to Shane Watson to leave the door open for a Rajasthan Royals’ comeback.

Leggie Pravin Tambe took a stunning hat-trick in the 16th over. Kolkata Knight Riders slipped dramatically from 121 for no loss to 123 for 6 in a matter of seven balls!

Toss and Teams: Kolkata Knight Riders have won the toss and asked Rajasthan Royals to bat first in Match 25 at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Motera, Ahmedabad.

Rajasthan Royals have made two changes with Tim Southee and Rahul Tewatia replacing Kane Richardson and Dhawal Kulkarni. KKR too have made two changes with Ryan ten Doeschate and Umesh Yadav coming in for Jacques Kallis and Piyush Chawla.
