West Indies prevailed over New Zealand through the Super Over in the Super Eights Match at Pallekele on Monday. The Windies were able to tie the game because of a fabulous penultimate over from spinner Sunil Narine. With New Zealand needing 17 runs from 12 balls with Ross Taylor still batting, Sunil Narine produced a great 19th over which saw the Kiwis get only three runs besides losing the wicket of Nathan McCullum. West Indies managed to defend a low total of 139 thanks to his superb bowling figures of 4-0-20-3.
